Children's Physical Development Clinic: Guest Lecturer Program

Children's Physical Developmental Clinic (CPDC) at Bridgewater State University is a unique physical, motor and recreation program that has been serving children with disabilities from Eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island since January 1974. The program is designed to enhance perceptual-motor, gross motor, sport, aquatic and leisure skills as well as social development of children and youth with disabilities, ages 18 months to 18 years.

Lectures from medicine, psychology and education have been chosen to foster a cross-disciplinary learning environment and present specific lectures related to the care, treatment, rehabilitation and education of children with disabilities. The lectures share knowledge and skills pertinent to services and programs capable of enhancing the lives of children and youth with disabilities.
