Setting Up Your Notebook Computer for On-Campus Use

When you arrive on campus with your notebook computer, it will need to be configured for use on the BSU wireless network. To make this as convenient as possible for you, we offer two options for getting your computer set up:

  1. Stop by one of the IT Support counters located in Maxwell Library and Moakley Center. Our staff will assist you in cleaning the machine of viruses and spyware, installing the necessary Windows Updates, and configuring your wireless while you wait.  Please note you are required to present your valid BSU student connect card before any service is provided.  No other form of identification is accepted.
     

  2. If you prefer not to wait in line, you can configure your computer yourself:
