Submitting a SafeAssignment

Students will use the following steps to submit their papers through SafeAssign:

  1. Login to Blackboard and navigate to the appropriate course
  2. Click the Assignments button
  3. Click the View/Complete link located under the SafeAssignment
  4. Enter any required notes into the Comments box
  5. Click the Browse... button and navigate to the location of the saved file. SafeAssign accepts files in Microsoft Word (doc and docx)/ OpenOffice (odt)/ TXT / RTF / HTML / PDF formats only. Please DO NOT upload files in any other formats, including JPEG / ZIP
  6. Select the document and click the Open button
  7. Click the Submit button
  8. A receipt success screen will appear: “SafeAssignment is successfully submitted.”
