Wireless Setup directions for Windows Vista

Please note: Your computer must meet the Network Authentication Requirements in order to access the network. 

To login to the BSC Wireless Network when you arrive on campus, you first need to claim your BSC account. If you have not yet claimed your account, click here to do so.


These instructions should work with any WPA or WPA2 compatible wireless card running Windows Vista.

Listed below are a series of instructions that automate the configuration of your wireless settings. If your computer cannot run the EZsetup program, manual directions are available.

1. Click the icon for the wireless network that is in the circle in the picture below, then click Connect to a network in the box that appears.

2. The Connect to a network window will appear. Select BSC-EZSetup and then click Connect in the lower right corner of the window.

3. The Connect to a network dialog box will appear stating that the network BSC-EZSetup is an unsecured network. This network does not have encryption in order to allow anyone to connect and initiate the EZwireless Setup utility. This program will configure your Wireless Connection with a more secure network.

Click Connect Anyway

Once connected, a window will appear stating you have successfully connected to BSC-EZsetup. Click the Close button.

4. Once you are connected to the BSC-EZSetup network, open a web-browser. The web-browser will automatically load Bridgewater State College's EZWireless Setup program. Click EZWireless Setup to launch the Auto Connect configuration program. After the program loads, follow the instructions provide to complete your wireless configuration.
