All telephone extensions that begin with the extension number 2 have a fax number beginning with 4 and the last three digits of their extension.
x2555 is fax 4555
All telephone extensions that begin with the extension number 1 have a fax number beginning with 5 and the last three digits of their extension.
x1236 is fax 5236.
All telephone extensions that begin with the extension number 6 have a fax number beginning with 5 and the last three digits of their extension.
x6149 is fax 5149
When you fax from Microsoft Outlook, the attachments must be in one of the following supported formats:
1. In the Inbox, click the New Message button, or select New Mail Message from the Actions menu to display the New Message window. (Figure 1-1)

2. To address the message to recipients stored in your Contacts folder, click the To button to display the Select Names Box and change the Show Names from the: from Global Address List to your Contacts listed at the Bottom (Figure 1-2)

Select recipients from the displayed list box, and press OK when done. Verify the fax number in your contact list is correct and edit the fax number to dial off-campus. (It is recommended that you do not store your PAC Code number in the contact list.)
To manually Address a Fax Off Campus
In addition to selecting fax recipients from an address book, you can type in the fax recipient's name, and fax number yourself by entering the following string in the To box:
[fax:name@fax_number]
Where name is the Name of the recipient, fax_number is the fax number of the recipient, for example [fax:John Doe@95086970000] or [fax:95086970000] for local faxes. For long distance [fax:8817813780000#PAC Code]

3. Click the Insert file button, or select File from the Insert menu to select a file to attach to the fax.
4. To specify Send Options, which include specifying a transmission priority, select the Properties from the File menu to display the New Message Properties dialog box (Figure 1-3)

To specify a priority for sending the fax message, other than the default of Normal, in the Importance area, check either High or Low. A message with a High importance will be transmitted before other messages queued for the same transmission time that do not have a High importance property. Similarly, a message with a Low importance will be transmitted after other messages queued for the same transmission time that have the default Normal importance property.
5. Click the Send Options button to display the Send Options for this Message dialog box (Fig. 1-4)

6. On the Fax Recipients Options tab, either specify a cover page filename in the File text box, or leave the text box blank to use the default cover page.
Select the appropriate setting transmission resolution, either Detail (200 X 200 dots per inch) or Standard (200 X 100 dots per inch). Click OK.
On the Microsoft Exchange Server tab (Figure 1-5), either accept the default transmission time or Immediately, or enter a delayed. Click OK.

7. On the New Message windows, from the File menu, choose Send, or click the Send button to send the fax.
Fax Notifications
For every fax you transmit, whether successful or unsuccessful, a Return Status is delivered to your Inbox. The Return Status is sent after all specified retries have been attempted and the file has been deleted from the queue, or the message has been sent successfully.

To view a fax, double-click n the attached TIFF file in your email
