Summary: Instructions on how to install the Cisco Clean Access Agent on a Windows computer

Description:The Clean Access Agent is required to be installed on all Windows computers in order to gain internet access in the residence halls and wireless network.


Note: you must already be connected to the wireless network for these steps to work. Please visit the wireless instruction page for more information.

  1. Open Internet Explorer, you will be automatically redirected to the BSC Network Authentication page. Enter your BSC username and password in the spaces provided. This is the same username and password you use for your email. Network Authentication Page

  2. Click Run to begin the Clean Access Agent install.

  3. If prompted with a Security Warning, Click Run.

  4. At the Agent Setup Screen, click Next.

  5. Click Next to accept the default folder location.

  6. Click Install.

  7. Click Finish to complete the installation.

  8. After the Agent is installed, you're prompted for your username and password.

  9. If your machine doesn't currently meet the security requirements, you're granted Temporary Access, which is restricted to limited sites allowing you to correct the issue. Click the Continue button to see where you are failing.

  10. Otherwise, you'll see a Success screen and be granted full network access.
