Using WEBDAV To Access Webhost from Off-Campus

WEBDAV provides a safe and secure way to access and transfer files to and from your Webhost drive through your internet browser. 

If you have Windows Vista click here

For Windows XP

  • Double Click My Computer

  • On the left-hand side under "Other Places" select My Network Places

  • Select Add Network Place

  • Click on Next

  • Select "Choose another network location" and click Next

  • Enter the Internet Address https://webhost.bridgew.edu/webdav/your username and click Next

  • When prompted for a username and password, enter BSC\yourusername and your password

  • Click OK

  • After successfully logging in you will see a window prompting you to name the new WebFolder -- you can use the default name or give it a new name.

  • Click the Finish Button

  • The link to your Webhost drive can now be accessed under My Network Places

For MAC OS X

  • Go to Finder

  • From the Menu bar, choose Go, then Connect to Server

  • For the Server Address enter:  https://webhost.bridgew.edu/webdav/yourusername

  • When prompted for a username and password, provide your BSC\yourusername and your password
