Projector

  • Please be sure the cart ON/OFF switch is ON (under keyboard)
  • Open side door (to the left) and turn on the computer.
  • Turn on monitor and log in to computer.
  • Point the remote to the projector, press and hold the ON button until the projector turns on (about 3-5 seconds). It will take the projector about 45-60 seconds to warm up.
    NOTE: If projector does not turn on go closer to the front of the projector and aim the remote at the small IR window next to the lens.

Computer

  • Open side door on the teaching station (left) and turn on the computer.
  • Turn on the monitor and log in to computer with your BSC username and password.
  • To display the computer image to the projector, press computer 1 or RGB button the the LCD projector remote.
  • Press the desktop/pc button on the teaching station.

Laptop

  • The laptop VGA cable is located on the teaching station under the keyboard. Plug the cable into your laptop.
  • Press the laptop/document camera button on the teaching station. If no image appears on the large screen turn off the document camera. If still no image, press the LCD/CRT key on your laptop while holding down the FN button until the image appears on the screen and large screen.

Document Camera

  • Power on the document camera. Lights should come on automatically. If not press the light button at the top.
  • Press RGB or Computer 1 on the LCD projector remote.
  • Press the laptop/document camera button on the teaching station. The focus and zoom are located on the document camera head.

DVD/VCR

  • Power on DVD/VCR inside teaching station.
  • Press VIDEO on the projector remote insert your VHS or DVD and press play.

Optional DVD play back

  • Place DVD in computer's CD/DVD drive, software should automatically open.
  • If it does not open, double click icon DVD player or go in to the program files to open it.

Audio

  • Audio from sources may be adjusted by turning the large black knob on the teaching station.

Please conserve energy by turning off equipment when not in use.
