Second LifeA working advisory group has been convened to explore the utility of Second Life as an environment for virtual teaching and learning, group collaboration, and provision of selected college services (possibilities include library services and resources, helpdesk, advising, student recruitment, etc.). The advisory group is developing recommendations about how the College might encourage experimentation with Second Life and perhaps other virtual or gaming environments.
Are you a Second Life user? Have you thought about ways in which you and your students might use this technology in your courses? If so, let the Second Life advisory group know by e-mailing Mike Somers, at msomers@bridgew.edu.
