Webhost Support
Webhost is the name of the server used to host personal web pages for BSC Faculty,
Staff, and Students. Every person with a BSC User Account is assigned a folder
on this server which can contain up to 40 megabytes of data.
Aside from hosting personal web pages, Faculty, Staff, and Students can also
use Webhost as a storage place for any type of file, such as Word documents
or PowerPoint presentations. Just remember that any file placed on Webhost is
immediately accessible to everyone on the Internet. If your data needs to remain
confidential, then you should store your data in the Private folder that is
located within your Webhost folder. Access to data stored in a Private folder
is restricted to the owner of that Webhost folder.
