The Bridgewater web site consists of 23,600 pages managed by 220 Information Providers and 3 Web Team staff members. Development of the BSU web site is a shared responsibility.

BSU faculty and staff approved as information providers are responsible for updating their departmental sites and ensuring content accuracy. IPs must adhere to BSU publishing guidelines and policies. IPs may sign up for quality assurance reports to make this task more manageable.
The Web Team is responsible for maintaining and optimizing web site templates, information architecture, navigation, directories, search and custom web applications. Some of the custom web applications we develop and support are the student portal, news log, student and community announcements, events calendar, Admissions tour reservation, campus map and online course evaluations.
The Web Team is responsible for publishing the updated pages in a timely manner (approximately a 24 hour turnaround.)
The Web Advisory Committee (WAC) is an interdisciplinary group comprised of students, faculty and staff headed by Institutional Advancement. All WAC members are appointed for two year terms. The WAC meets periodically to recommend policy and procedures as they relate to BSU's strategic web site presence. This group became active in Jan 2010.
