Blackboard Faculty Support

The Blackboard Course Management System provides Faculty and Students with secure web site space for document distribution, course communication, and other related course activities. Faculty can post handouts (syllabi, PowerPoint slideshows, etc.) and multimedia content, hold asynchronous and synchronous discussions via the Discussion Board and Virtual Chat tools, post student grades via the Online Gradebook, organize group space for collaborative projects, receive assignments from students via the Digital DropBox, and more.

Any Faculty member who would like a personal one-hour Blackboard Tutorial should contact the Teaching and Technology Center - 508.531.2634 or via e-mail at TTC@bridgew.edu. If you would like to request a Blackboard user account and/or course sites for your classes, please fill out the form located here: Requesting New Course Sites or Section Number Changes.
